QCSA Senior Women's Div.1 - Rd.12  "Pink Day"

Logan Uniting had a strong 5-1 home victory over their near town rivals, Logan Metro.
West End fought hard to escape the trip to Lowood with a narrow 1-0 win against Brisbane Valley.
Salisbury Baptist travelled up north and played valiantly, including having the majority of the possession, but were pipped by home team North Pine Baptist, 2-1.
In the match of the round, Blackstone United asserted their top placing with an emphatic 4-0 win away to rivals Westminster. Nevertheless, there would have been a wonderful atmosphere at Redbank Plains venue with 'pink" being the dominant colour around the ground.
Unfortunately a serious injury to a Raceview player saw the match vs Rosewood United abandoned and the match will be rescheduled to a later date.

With 4 games to go, Blackstone United continue their amazing run and head West End by 6 points, who have now snuck into 2nd place, ahead of Westminster.
Amazingly, Blackstone and West End finished 1-2 in Div.2 last year and played off for the Div.2 G/F also. Are we going to see a repeat of this in 2015???

Two crucial games this coming weekend will pit 2nd West End vs. 3rd Westminster. Similarly, 4th placed Rosewood United will host 5th placed North Pine Baptist.
Raceview, Logan Uniting and Salisbury Baptist will have their own little battle as to which team will end up in 6th spot at the end of the season.

QCSA Senior Men's Division 1 - Rd.12

Logan Metro have continued their late season revival with a crucial 2-1 win over Blackstone United.
The Latin Golden Boys had a strong 4-1 win over North Pine Baptist and will surely dent the final aspirations of teams they come up against in the final rounds.
Westminster Warriors had a nail-biting 3-2 result against Sunnybank Saints in a fantastic contest. Yet, Mansfield Eagles 5-4 win away to ladder leaders, St Pauls, was even more impressive!
This result, and their 7-1 win over Whitehill, has found competition favourites, Brisbane Athletic, finally hit the lead with 4 games to go.

It's still a three-way contest at the top with Brisbane Athletic 34 pts (+39),St Pauls 34 (+26) & Westminster 31 (+13) still in the hunt.
Similarly, a three-way battle looms for 4th position between Mansfield Eagles 23 (+5), Sunnybank Saints 20 (+8) and Logan Metro 19 (0).

The two games in contention for match of the day are: Mansfield Eagles vs Westminster Warriors & Brisbane Athletic vs Sunnybank Saints.
